Changing the Narrative

They’re now starting to call the influx of tens of thousands of South American CHILDREN, orchestrated by some malevolent source that wants to overwhelm our border defenses, an influx of “REFUGEES” which is planned to cause the United Nations to become involved and allow Obama to “change the rules” regarding them. It is a “plague of locusts,” indeed! They’re moving them all over the country, because the communities on the border just can’t handle the numbers of illegal children coming in. Obama wants $4 BILLION for it.

”FLEEING VIOLENCE”: Those thousands of illegal immigrant children are said to be “fleeing violence and murder in their home countries.” So they send them to Chicago and cities like it where there is “the constant sound of gunshots every night.” Wait; isn’t that what they’re supposed to have fled? Obama is whining about the GOP opposition to his “fix” for this problem, which is of his own making. He says they asked for a “fix,” so they should be helping. Only problem is his “fix” will only make things worse.

NEW WAYS TO SUCK MONEY: Democrat Rep. (who else?) Earl Blumenauer, from Oregon (where else?) wants to tax drivers on every mile they drive. That’s IN ADDITION to gasoline taxes, registration fees. And all the other taxes we pay on our cars. He wants to do this to replenish the “highway fund,” which (they say) will run out of money soon. Why should we be made to pay for the INCOMPETENCE of the politicians and bureaucrats who are SUPPOSED to be managing that fund? Why did they let it go that long? Why did they spend so much?

WHY TALK INCOMPETENCE? In the item above, I ask why we should pay for the INCOMPETENCE of the bureaucrats who are supposed to be “managing” the “highway fund?” Okay; the government has been long talking about reducing the amount of gasoline we use, and we’ve done so by many methods: driving less, electric cars, increasing gas mileage in our cars, etc. All of which has reduced the amount of gas we use, and thus the amount of money they gain from the gas tax. Should they have foreseen this? Yes. Did they? NO; which is why I talk about their incompetence.

ISRAEL STRIKES MOSQUE: Is that a bad thing? Should mosques be FORBIDDEN as targets? Only if they don’t hide their munitions in them, as this one did. They hide munitions in hospitals and private homes, too, guaranteeing “civilian casualties when Israel retaliates for their rocket attacks. What makes them think they can get away with their rocket attacks? That’s easy: the world CRITICIZES Israel when they retaliate, but they don’t criticize HAMAS when they fire their rocket bombs into civilian areas of Israel.

UN CALLS FOR CEASE-FIRE: As usual, they’re blaming the wrong side. They’re calling on ISRAEL to “cease firing.” Israel is willing, if the Palestinians would just stop firing rocket bombs into their country. But they won’t. They might SAY good things, but they won’t DO good things. Israel will stop attacking Palestinian (HAMAS) positions as soon as the last rocket bomb stops raining on civilian areas in Israel. But that’s not going to happen because HAMAS doesn’t know HOW to stop attacking Israelis, whom they hate, just for BEING Israelis. They’re too damned stupid.
