Real Gun Control

Some fanciful wags say that gun control is “hitting your target.” They say it as a joke, But actually, they’re right. In reality, real gun control is a gun in the hand of a potential victim of a criminal with an illegal gun. Not too many criminals come back to shoot people after they’re shot to death. Some people think that is a joke, too. But it is not. It’s a basic truth. Parity is of vital importance when it comes to defending yourself against a law-breaker coming to victimize you with the gun he or she has gotten illegally. Fact is, no amount of anti-gun laws that disarm the law-abiding have ever done anything to stop, or even slow down “gun violence, so the ONLY effective response is to shoot the law-breaker before he can shoot you.

CURE WORSE THAN DISEASE? I’ve been worried about the direction our efforts to combat the Coronavirus is taking, thinking that even if the virus itself fizzles, we may have sown the seeds of our own destruction in what we’re doing to stop the spread of the disease. I see Rush Limbaugh agrees with me. He notes: “Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a substantial portion of our nation and economy has essentially been shut down. In many parts of the country, gatherings of 10 people or more are prohibited, all major events are canceled, countless businesses have been forced to close and tens of millions of American citizens are being ordered to remain in their homes for an indeterminate length of time, often under threat of arrest and fines or prosecution.”

“A NEW PROGRESSIVE ERA”: California Governor Newsom says this virus is a unique opportunity to “create a new progressive era.” That means, in plain words, “using the panic to impose socialism” on this nation. Progressivism IS socialism under a different name, used to fool the electorate into allowing socialism to be imposed upon us without us suspecting. In Russia the communists used misleading words to con the populace into allowing themselves to be enslaved by communism, and that caused 75 years of misery for the Russians. I certainly hope we don’t go down the same path. Communism and socialism are but two kinds of collectivism.

WE’RE NOT DOING IT RIGHT: Yes, this virus pandemic is serious. It migrates easily and spreads quickly. But completely shutting down the American economy is NOT the right way to go. That way, even if the virus is easily taken care of, the damage we’re doing to the economy can stay with us for a long time. Socialists are already trying to use this crisis as a cover to impose socialism upon this country. California Governor Newsom said as much when he said, “This is an unusual opportunity to move us into a new progressive era.” Meaning use it to impose socialism on us.

THE ONLY WAY: Keeping guns away from the bad guys I not only useless, it’s futile. Bad guys don’t usually get their guns legally because they know those gotten legally can be traced, and they don’t want that. Simply put, the ONLY way to stop a criminal from using his gun on you is to kill him with your own gun. Something anti-gun fools are working hard to prevent. All they’re accomplishing is making the “gun crime” they claim to be fighting more easy, and getting people killed. Gullible politicians are helping by making their illegal, unenforceable anti-gun laws that only disarm the law-abiding.

ONE MAN’S OPINION: Can you believe the stupidity? Dr.Fauci has been extremely effective in his approach to the Coronavirus and now he needs security. Why? People are threatening his life for his work. What do these people use for brains? Stupid! Stupid… Bette Milder says Trump’s “Overwhelming jealousy of Obama will kill us all." What? What’s there to be jealous of? Truth is, as usual, just the opposite. Obama is overwhelmingly jealous of Trump’s pre-virus amazing success and wishes he had had such a major panic to oversee… NY Mayor DiBlasio must think he is a tin-pot dictator. He’s promising to “permanently close” churches who have services in opposition to his unconstitutional orders. Somebody needs to tell him he doesn’t have that kind of authority…
