Give It Up, Already!

Nancy Peelosi and the Dumocrats have spent millions of OUR dollars in her attempted coup against legally-elected president Donald Trump, trying her best (or worst) to unseat him. She (and they) are miffed because this non-politician, who “shouldn’t have won anything,” has been making Dumocrats look like the damned fools they are at every turn ever since. He has promised to “drain the swamp” in DC and they are sorely frightened that he will actually do it. He usually does what he promises. That it is not the usual “political promise” made simply to get elected, and then forgotten.

POLICIES BASED ON IGNORANCE: There are only so many things you can say about policies that are based on an abysmal ignorance about things without repeating yourself, and that’s what I’m faced with. I’ve been doing this for so long, I seem to have “said it all” about the total ignorance and stupidity displayed by those who want to disarm all Americans who wish to buy their guns legally while totally ignoring those who just go out and buy them in a back alley somewhere, from another criminal who will be happy to sell them to them without a background check, or a permit—or just steal them from someone who did buy them legally. People who are going to misuse the guns they buy are not going to stand for a background check or bother to apply for a permit to carry. They just do it illegally. That’s a given.

THE VIRUS WON’T KILL US: Yes, the Coronavirus is killing some people. But the number, how awful as it is, is but a very small number as part of the whole. Yes, thousands dying sounds awful. But thousands die of the flu EACH YEAR, and they treat it perfunctorily. So we agree that we ought to take precautions. But the news media is playing up the Coronavirus pandemic into a terrible monster and that’s going to kill more people than the virus itself. You can’t look toward a TV without seeing the word “Coronavirus.” Or “Covid 19.” (Oh gee. A second name to confuse people. Kinda like in the pharmacy. Each medicine has at least four to six different names. But that’s a discussion for another day.) NY Governor Cuomo goes on the air daily for at least an hour and details all the shortages of everything needed to “fight the virus.”

IT MUST BE FRUSTRATING: The anti-gun fools, led by “MOMS Agains Guns” (or something like that) are incensed that President Trump would have the temerity to make a “ruling” that gun stores and shooting ranges are “essential businesses.” It must be very frustrating to be pushing something so patently dumb as gun control. She can’t honestly point to ONE gun law that has ever stopped, or even slowed down gun crime, but she, and her cohorts continue to push them as if they actually worked. Her gullible politicians, which include every Dumocrat presidential candidate and even some prior presidents, push gun control too, in spite of the FACT that it DOES NOT WORK, has never worked, and never will work.

WE’RE G0NNA FIND OUT: I’ve talked many times about why people should spend some time thinking about what we would do if there were no cops. And I think we’re going to find out, soon. Cops in some places are refusing to arrest certain criminals because of the pandemic. Prosecutors are refusing to prosecute them. Cops themselves are getting sick of the virus because many times, they have no option but to get closer to a fleeing suspect than the mandated six feet, or lose them, altogether. Some are just staying home, out of the fear generated by the news media, which flogs the dangers of the virus hourly. Pretty soon there will be no cops to go around, so what are we going to do when some depraved individual, carrying a gun he got illegally, comes to victimize us? Easy shoot him. Get a gun, legally or illegally.

ONE MAN’S OPINION: Why do they even bother? AOC, Illian Omar, and Bernie send a letter demanding Trump end Iranian sanctions during the pandemic. What makes them think Trump worries for one minute over what this bunch of fools wants? The letter probably went straight into the “circular file” without opening… Biden says “It would be wise for President Trump to ask former President Obama for advice on this pandemic. What the hell FOR? Obama couldn’t handle a lesser pandemic, so why should Trump bother? Typically stupid Dumocrat thinking… California Gov. Newsom says we can use this virus to “implement a new progressive era.” Meaning, of course, to take advantage of it to implement their liberal pipe dreams. And he’s not the only liberal to think so…
